How to calculate fees when inbound dimensional shipping weight is greater than actual weight?
When shipping items into Amazon FBA some shipping services (FedEx / UPS / USPS) calculate the cost of shipping using dimensional weight vs actual weight when the dimensional weight is greater than the actual weight.
To enable this method of calculating the inbound shipping follow these steps:
1. Click on the Settings gear icon
2. Click on Calculator Settings
3. Locate the section labeled "What weight to use to calculate Inbound Shipping"
4. Select The greater of (product weight, dimensional weight)
