How to Use the Search Suppression Check Feature

What is the Search Suppression Check?

This feature allows you to perform an on-demand check for any ASIN directly from your AZInsight dashboard. By clicking a new icon, the system will perform a live Amazon search for that ASIN and immediately tell you if it's visible in search results or if it has been suppressed.

How to Use the Feature

Navigate to any list or detail view in AZInsight where ASINs are displayed.
In the header row of the table, you will see a new gray icon.
Hover your mouse over the icon to see the tooltip:
"Click to instantly determine if this ASIN is being suppressed from Amazon search results."
Click the icon to run the check. The system will perform a live search on Amazon for the selected ASIN. The icon will change color based on the result.

Understanding the Results

After you click the icon, it will update to show one of two statuses:

Case 1: ASIN is NOT Suppressed (Green Icon)

What it means: The ASIN was found in Amazon search results and is performing as expected.
Tooltip Message:
"This ASIN is currently appearing in Amazon search results and is performing as expected."

Case 2: ASIN IS Suppressed (Red Icon)

What it means: The ASIN was not found in Amazon search results, indicating it has been suppressed and is not visible to customers.
Tooltip Message:
"This ASIN has been suppressed and is not visible to customers in search."

Important Notes

On-Demand Checks: This check is only performed when you manually click the icon. This is to ensure we do not overwhelm Amazon with automatic, bulk requests, which helps maintain the tool's reliability for all users.
Live Data: The result is based on a real-time search at the moment you click. The status of an ASIN can change, so you can re-check at any time by clicking the icon again.
Single ASIN Check: This feature checks one ASIN at a time. It is designed for quick, individual verification.
