Seller Central: Required Permissions for Sub-Accounts

Modified on Mon, 2 Dec at 12:47 PM

In this post, we discuss sub-accounts on Amazon Seller Central, which are different from sub-accounts on AZInsight. A sub-account on Amazon Seller Central enables you to add team members to your Amazon Seller Account so they can assist with specific tasks within the platform. In contrast, a sub-account on AZInsight allows your team members to access and use the AZInsight tool.

To grant a sub-account on Amazon Seller Central the necessary permissions for using seller restrictions and the hazmat checker, please follow these steps:

1. Log in to Amazon Seller Central.

2. Click on "Settings" in the top right corner and then select "User Permissions."

3. Locate the Amazon sub-account you wish to grant permissions to and click the "Manage Permission" button in the same row.

4. In the table provided, find the required permissions and assign them the status of "View & Edit."

PermissionsGrant the following
Manage Inventory/Add a product

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the 'Continue' button to save your changes. Once this is done, the sub-account will have the necessary permissions to use the Chrome extension.
