Boost Your Security: Introducing Multi-Factor Authentication

Modified on Tue, 13 Jan at 5:44 AM

What is MFA?

MFA adds an extra step to your login process. Instead of just entering your password, you’ll also provide a second proof of identity. Think of it like:

  • Something you know (your password)

  • Something you have (your phone generating a code)

This second step makes it extremely difficult for unauthorized users to access your account, even if they have your password.

What to Expect

When signing in, after entering your password, you’ll be prompted for a second verification. This will typically be a 6-digit code that refreshes every 30 seconds.

Recommended Tools to Get Codes

You can use any reputable authenticator app on your smartphone. Here are a few popular, free options:

  • Google Authenticator (Simple, reliable)

  • Microsoft Authenticator (Great for Microsoft accounts, also supports backups)

  • Authy (Popular for its cloud backup feature, so you don’t lose access if you lose your phone)

How to Set It Up:

  1. Download your chosen app from the official app store.

  2. When prompted by our system, you’ll scan a QR code with the app.

  3. The app will then generate your login codes.
